A poorly dog & a new camera…

I’ve been focused on my dog for the past few weeks because he nearly passed away. He had a sudden decline in health, lost weight, drank a lot, not interested in food and unable to walk far. Also he was violently sick! I took him to the vets and they discovered he was having a diabetic crisis, he is diabetic.

Fortunately they saved him, although I have to inject insulin into him twice a day now as a result. His kidneys are not normal either so that is another concern. Currently he is wearing a device so we can monitor his blood with a phone app. I had pet insurance for him thankfully but he will need treatment constantly from now on.

Waffle is my world, he is my best buddy. I’m so thankful he is still with me!

I saw an opportunity to get another120 film camera. It is a Mamiya 645 and it is in splendid condition. I’m currently testing it with some Kodak Gold 200. It feels fairly hefty and good quality. I will post up some photos from it when I get the film back from the lab.

I’m still doing the amateur radio stuff, however the conditions for HF have not been too good lately.
